Body Types
Curtain Side Vehicles
A curtain-sider lorry is a truck type with flexible side walls that can be pulled/rolled up or to the side so that you can access the cargo area. These walls are a weather-protection structure mounted on the bed of a trailer that also keeps the load in place.
Luton Box Vehicles
Luton vans are a type of large van, also known as box vans and Luton peak vans. A distinctive feature of Luton vans is the peaked front that extends over the driver's cabin offering more storage. Many standard Luton vans also come with an integrated tail lift to make loading and unloading easier.
Drop Side Vehicles
Dropside vans are a type of light commercial vehicle (LCV) often used in the construction industry. They feature hinged tailboards and sideboards which can be dropped down below the load bed for easier access.
Low Loader Vehicles
A low-entry 3.5T vehicle refers to a van or truck with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of up to 3,500 kilograms that has a very low floor, making it easier to load and unload cargo.
Flat Bed Vehicles
A flatbed truck is a vehicle with an entirely flat, open cargo bed, lacking sides or a roof, designed for transporting large, bulky, or irregularly shaped items that cannot fit into an enclosed truck.
